…rearranging today…seeking restful whites and creams, yet longing for the warmth of texture…so was finally brave enough to cut a bedspread in two to make our new curtains for the living room…the resulting wintery cosiness is making me very happy…
Such calm….I rather like quiet times before Christmas…like your beautiful pictures..there is a feeling of holding your breath….waiting for that magical moment a space between the seconds….I loved your words to me thank you..I too like scrubby little pines with roots all crooked in corners, peeping out waiting to be selected… Hugs Lynn xxxx
What a lovely vignette, Lesley! I also have a painting done by Katie E. and treasure it. It is a ladye bringing her basket of hearts home to her hearth and home. I miss her little newsletter and look through my old copies when I can. Different seasons come for all of us, don’t they? xx, Julie
My name is Lesley and I love to create beauty and peace...in my home, online rooms and the pages I design for my shop. I live in the countryside of Virginia with my husband, one white dog, two hens and all of the wild things in field and forest and sky.
