Happy Christmas everyone…it has been lovely to spend this month together…your comments have been real gifts to me…
I hope the days ahead will include rest and peace and joy and every good thing for you. I have been noticing this line especially lately, from one of the old sentimental Christmas songs…
“and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near…”
And when all the bustle and preparations are done, I am hoping for a glowing heart now and then in the week to come…twelve days, actually, as we try to stretch it out that long when possible. And I will be hoping to bring my new creation to fruition during the twelve glowing days and will be here again when there is news to share.
“As I walked down the road at set of sun,
The lambs were coming homeward one by one,
I heard a sheep bell softly calling them,
Along the little road to Bethlehem.
The lambs were coming homeward one by one,
I heard a sheep bell softly calling them,
Along the little road to Bethlehem.
Beside an open door as I drew nigh,
I heard sweet Mary sing a lullabye,
She sang about the lambs at close of day,
And rocked her tiny boy among the hay.
Across the air the silver sheep bell rang,
“The lambs are coming home,” sweet Mary sang,
“Your star of gold, your star of gold is shining in the sky,”
“So sleep my little boy, go lullabye.”
As I walked down the road at set of sun,
The lambs were coming homeward one by one,
I heard a sheep bell softly calling them,
Along the little road to Bethlehem.”
