I am usually not a bauble-y sort of girl…

…but when I found these amongst the silver and green
and red ones at the antique shop, I knew I had a found
a bauble (or two or three) that I could be friendly with.

Tho’ I’m most comfortable with the “soft focus” photo
in the middle.

Soft or bright, I am ever hoping for…

This was me today…tucked up by the fire, with a cup
of lemon tea, reading the 39 Steps, resting deeply
and throroughly…

…if only!

Today has been another busy day, but your
good wishes warmed me, and after six or seven
more orders are packaged up tonight and
taken to the post office tomorrow morning,
I do indeed intend to curl up on the sofa with
my latest Laurie King. And when I finish that,
I will keep curled up with my notebook and
pencil and make lists of all there is to be
done…

….and then perhaps stay a little longer
on the sofa, until I have the strength to
actually begin upon the doing of those lists.
