On this last day of November, with a broken furnace in our basement and a broken world on my heart and mind...I am yet filled with hope. There is still so much goodness to be found, and I find myself holding it close when I notice it, or create it or stumble upon it. I feel it in the little tree above, in the wild geese calling in the grey skies this morning, and in the homely tasks awaiting me later today. And I hope that you will find armfuls (or at least handfuls) of it in your days, too.

At Wisteria & Sunshine we've been having conversations about how to move through these modern days, especially the dear month ahead. We want December...life...to be quieter, gentler and less hurried. The Advent calendar of daily posts that is December there will keep this desire in mind, and also be rich in beauty, cheer and simplicity. I've lowered the cost of membership this month, to make it easier to join, if that sounds like what you need just now.
